TIPS
**Throw gently at first
**Never throw sidearm.
**Flies best in little or no wind.
**Awareness of wind essential.
THE GRIP
Hold the boomerang near the tip with the flat side away from you. Grip the boomerang with a pinch grip.
THE AIM
Face the breeze, now aim at 45degrees to the right (for right handed thrower) or left(for left handed thrower) of the breeze and just above the horizon.
THE THROW
NEVER LAID OVER FLAT
The boomerang should be thrown about 10 degrees off the vertical.
Throw it forwards and upwards like a DART towards the horizon, using a fast spinning vertical motion.
Use a snap of the wrist, spin counts more than power!!
THE CATCH
Thown correctly, the boomerang will return to the thrower from the left side (for right handed boomerangs) or right side (for left handed boomerangs). Aiming for the middle as it hovers down, clap hands together catching the boomerang!
